“I have learnt a lot. I feel more confident and assertive in all areas of my life and am using the skills we developed in the sessions in everyday life.”  Melanie, special needs co-coordinator.

We are made up of mind, body, and spirit.  Our mind with its intellect and emotion. Our physical body.  And our spiritual essence.  Holistic life coaching is facilitating someone’s experience within all these states of being so they reach a state of empowerment and balance.

TOP QUESTION:  What is the difference between life coaching and holistic life coaching?  Life coaching helps us to improve different areas of our life e.g. work, friendship, personal development, communication, intimacy, well-being and family.  Holistic life coaching helps us integrate these areas of our life to give a more profound meaning to daily living.

The supervised skills development and supported distance learning run concurrently.

Supervised skills development

You need to complete 40 hours of supervised skills development before you take on case studies.

There are two different ways you could have your skills development:

1          Face-to-face group Saturday workshops

You need to attend seven Saturday workshops before taking on case studies.  You can start your master classes at any time of the year and they need not be consecutive attendance.

Saturday master classes in Brighton, Sussex, UK   These run from 10am – 4pm on the following 2018 dates: 13 January – 10 February – 17 March – 14 April – 19 May – 9 June – 7 July – 15 September – 20 October – 17 November – 8 December

2          Remote sessions

These skills development sessions are facilitated online via Skype, Facetime or Zoom.  You will be trained, observed and assessed delivering coaching in the following two ways:

  1. When you and your client are in the same location with me in another and we are linked remotely in real-time.  This develops your face-to-face coaching skills.  Please note you are required to find your own volunteer clients.  You can book these sessions when it is convenient for you, your client and myself.  Each session will last an hour and includes coaching delivery and feedback.
  2. During monthly online Saturday master classes where you would be working with fellow students in a small group of four facilitated by myself.  You will be trained delivering remote coaching to a fellow student and be coached yourself.  These online workshops run on the following 2018 dates:  24 March – 28 April – 26 May – 30 June – 28 July – 29 September – 27 October – 24 November  – 15 December.  You can start your online master classes at any time of the year and they need not be consecutive attendance.

WHAT THE STUDENTS SAY

Here’s what some of our Diploma Students have said:

I enjoy doing a course that is organized well! It gives me a feeling that I am making progress. Tasnein, Seiki practitioner

I found the course very interesting. The aspect I found most revealing was whatever presented as the ‘concern’ e.g. work, personal or health issues – behind it all, are our experiences and attitudes which colour our outlook on life which in turn dictates how we approach our problems. The course was very informative and helped expand my knowledge and presented some interesting aspects to deal with. The case studies helped ‘bring things together’ and provided real opportunities to use the tools given. Brenda, therapist
