Nigel Porter Unit (breast cancer), Royal Sussex County Hospital - for nine years, I was a complementary therapist with the unit working with breast cancer clients at diagnosis, pre and post-surgery stages. I supported women through hormone treatment, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. I wrote a series of patient newsletters for the unit. I facilitated a therapeutic writing group for the unit working with women at all stages of breast cancer.
